Ray-Ban – Rare Prints Wayfarer Sunglasses

The Wayfarer sunglasses is one of the most iconic sunglasses to come out from Ray-Ban and most likely one of the longest selling sunglasses model by far. Staying relevant in today’s saturated market is not easy yet Ray-Ban have released many Wayfarer variations to keep the fans interested. The latest Rare Prints series is a multi colored design that is available in two versions. One version is an all over print that covers the whole frame while the other consist of only the inside of the frames decorated with the outside contrasted by solid colors. As for the design, Flowers print and Subway prints are produced in full color. These new designs will certainly be useful in the coming sunny season

The life-long fan of New York Yankees collaborated with Nike Sportswear this Spring in designing a limited Be True collection as homage to the “Bronx Bombers”, which includes this special Stadium Jacket (or Varsity Jacket). Cotton shell construction with pinstriped polyester lining, the jacket is in identical navy colorway – with contrast white stripe cuff, rib, hem, and collar, as authentic Yankees uniform. Jacket’s front features FUTURA’s signature Pointman caricature in Yanks uniform. Embroidered markings of “27 Bronx” (right arm) and “Bombers” (left arm) ensure the team’s place in baseball’s annals. Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) – LeBron James’ Heroes Pack – Michael Jordan

Previewed last week, the Air Jordan-inspired Nike Air Max LeBron VII (7) from LeBron James‘ Heroes Pack was definitely an eye opener for any Nike Basketball fans, though it was a pair of samples only.  Now come words (and images) from DJ Clark Kent on the finalized version.  The overall design is still based on the Air Jordan XI (11), with exception of the Flywire-Torch upper in place of the woven option found on the sample.  Also added are two embroidered lion’s heads near the inner heel panels.  Unfortunately according to Kent, these are only available to LeBron himself and few others within his circle of friends. via: TheShoeGame

 Marking the 19th Maison Martin Margiela brand store in the world, MMM announces the opening of a 2700 sq ft temporary shop in Miami, Florida. From the press release:

Following the F Factory Limited Edition Experiences, it was only logical to find a temporary location in the Miami Design District. Many will immediately ask as to exactly how temporary “Temporary” is! The Maison Martin Margiela’s reply to this is “However long it takes to find our dream home….. Yet temporary this location is!”
The atmosphere of this shop, adapted and decorated by Maison Martin Margiela, also draws on the prolific and iconographic use of whites – of furniture, objects, fabrics and textures, old and new – typical of the spirit of the Maison Martin Margiela’s Paris premises, a former school of industrial design, in the 11th arrondissement of the city. Furniture and architectural elements re-interpreted have been brought in to build on the space’s personality. The shop is a collection of “areas” to house each of the Maison’s collections. Each area is a distinct and unique space which uses elements of the Maison such as printed “wood” floors and tromp l’oeil effects. Using new and innovating expressions, the overall atmosphere of our Maimi store is composed by our symbolic variations of whites and our selection of furniture, materials and objects.
