Nike Shoe Sculptures – “(Not So) New Shoes” Earth Day Exhibition By Gabriel Dishaw

WOW! So creative and artistic. This would be sick to add to your art collection

Self-proclaimed junk artist, Gabriel Dishaw, lives up to his name and has a passion for working with junk. However, in Dishaw’s case, one man’s trash is truly another man’s treasure, and through Dishaw’s transformation, found metal and mechanical objects such as typewriters, adding machines and computers get a new life. And this month, coinciding with Earth Day, Dishaw transfigures these tech discards into Nike kicks, giving sustainable shoes a whole new meaning. These shoes are currently exhibited at 360SEE Earth Day Show, in Dishaw’s solo exhibition titled “(Not So) New Shoes”.
