Nike Air Max 95 - JD Sports Releases

Those who follow retro releases of Nike Air Max kicks know that JD sports in the UK gets some serious heat. Two new models have arrived to in-store or online purchase, and they are at different ends of the spectrum. The Black, orange, and blue model is a bit of a departure from the traditional styling of the Air Max 95. We can see that this model uses a variety of materials–patent leather, nylon mesh, and suede. The upper is almost entirely black–apart from the striking pattern of interlocked geometric shapes that runs through a band at the middle of the shoe. The swoosh in that band is a NY Knicks and Mets orange and blue, as is the tongue embroidery. Balancing the shoe a bit is the orange air bubble, which splits up the black areas nicely. Following a more traditional color palate and arrangement, the second release in blue, white, black, and gold will make the Air Max purist proud. Smooth leather is used throughout the upper, fading from black on the sole to white at the top of the sneaker. Gold appears on the tongue embroidery and the customary 3m reflective heel stays in tact as well. Available now at JD Sports.
